29 Palms WGC 2012 Tournament Schedule
January 7
"Punt-Pass-Kick"
Players will
play their own ball. The drive will be your "punt", one
shot from the fairway can be thrown, which will be the "pass"
and one shot on the green may be kicked, which will be your "kick".
Wear your favorite team`s jersey and let`s have some fun.
February 4
Poker Scramble 9-holes
Teams
of four will be given 5 cards at the start of the play and will
earn more for getting birdies, pars and bogeys. At the end of play
each team with the best poker hand will win.
March 3 "Green
Ball 9-holes
Teams
of four will play their own ball except that one player will
be playing the "green ball" for a hole and then it is
passed to the next team member at the next hole. This is repeated
until end of play. The Green Ball score will be the team score.
April 14 Couples
Tournament 18-holes
This
will be the alternate shot event. Both players will tee off and
alternate shots until holed out. This will be open to everyone.
We will have KP`s and Mulligan's. We will have an awards luncheon
following play.
May 5 "Sinko-de-Mayo"
9-holes
This will
be a stroke play event. Winner will be determined by who has the
lowest amount of putts.
June 2 3,3,3
Tournaments (stoke play/net)
Two
person team event. The first 3 holes will be a two person scramble,
The next 3 holes will be alternate shot and the last 3 holes will
be a two person best ball, (100% handicap event).

8 Welcome Back "Scramble" 9-holes
Four
person team event. We will have breakfast prior to play.
October 6
Red & Blue Match Play 9-holes
This
is a match play event. One person from the red team will play against
a player from the blue team Team scores will determine the winner.
100% handicap.
November 3
Flag Tournament 9-holes
Each
player gets a flag. Your number of strokes before planting your
flag will be your handicap index + 36, which is par for 9 holes
on this course.
December 1
"White Elephant Holiday Tourney" 18-holes
Four
person team event, "Drop-Out-Scramble". Played as
a regular scramble only the persons shot that is selected will not
play the next shot.
